TELETHON APPEAL RAISES MORE THAN $154,000

Thanks to Lilly Broadcasting and its three affiliates WICU, WSEE and the CW and their on air personalities and staff, the Second Annual Community for Kanzius Telethon, held on September 17, 2009, was a huge success. More than 40 volunteers staffed phones at two locations, WICU studios and the Scott Enterprises' Ambassador Conference Center for more than three hours. Our online community made donations for several days prior to the telethon and raised more than $9,200 from individual donors in 22 states and three foreign countries.

Donors from the following states and countries participated in the telethon: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New England, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Also Ontario and Quebec in Canada plus Sweden and Switzerland.
