Position Opening for Project Leader

Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation is seeking a Project Leader to further advance our mission to ensure the acquisition of funding for the Kanzius Non-invasive Radio Wave Cancer Treatment. The treatment, which uses a patented device invented by the late John Kanzius and targeted metallic nanoparticles has demonstrated the capacity to destroy 100% of the cancer cells without surgery and without side effects!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the Pepsi Refresh Everything grant project to include:
    • Secure national print and electronic media attention.
    • Increase website traffic and search engine placement.
    • Expand ways in which donors can instantly give and/or receive communications.
    • Build awareness with strategic niche audiences.
    • Educate and update Congress on the Kanzius research and funding needs.
    • Grow national base of volunteers.
    • Acquire new donors through direct marketing.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external marketing/creative agencies, vendors, and freelancers.
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of volunteers.
  • Coordinate participation / presence at national conferences.
  • Budget and track expenditures.
  • Coordinate speaking engagements for the Executive Director or communicate on his behalf as needed.
  • Manage Internet and social media presence.

Compensation commensurate with experience
*** PLEASE NOTE: This position is currently budgeted for a twelve (12) month period.***

Skills

The ideal qualified candidates will possess:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma with bachelor’s degree in an applicable field preferred
  • Two to four years of successful, relevant public relations, communications, and project/grant management experience
  • A proven track record of solid, significant success in goal achievement
  • Effective leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate multiple teams
