The Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation regretfully announces the passing of John Kanzius on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. John’s passing, at a hospital near his winter home in Sanibel, Florida, has come at a time when his cancer invention was entering the final stages of animal testing and nearing the time when it would become available for human clinical trials.
The Foundation was formed shortly after John announced his invention, the Kanzius Non-invasive Radio Wave Cancer Treatment, as a way to update the progress of his efforts, which have soared at a rapid pace.
“We will not stop until John’s vision becomes reality,” said Maryann Yochim, president of the John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation. “Our only regret at this point is that John will not be here to see the first cancer patient cured with his technology. But, we believe strongly that this will happen. It’s only a matter of time.”
Lead researcher, Steven Curley, MD will continue his work at a lab at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, which is dedicated specifically to John’s invention. Your donations have helped to increase the number of researchers working on this project and will continue to provide the funds necessary to see it to completion.
We remain committed to John’s mission to find a cure for cancer. With the continued dedication of the Rutkowski family at Industrial Sales and Manufacturing, in Erie, PA, who have devoted countless hours towards this mission, we are confident that someday John’s dream will become a reality. Your continued support will help to ensure John’s legacy.
